    You’ve been hinting at something interesting happening over the horizon for a reeeally long time, now. I kinda want something to actually happen, y’know?

    Also–isn’t it eeenteresting that antagonistic rivals always seem to have a disabling lack of female presence in their lives? It’s always like “HOMYGAWDGIRL”. Or like Prince Laharl “HOMYGAWDBOOBSGETITAWAYFROMME”.

    Anyway, that’s my main criticism: needs some captivating suspense. “Something bad is going to happen later” doesn’t cut it with the webcomic crowd–we’re not invested enough to stick around for the later. We need “something bad and/or unspeakably adorable is possibly going to happen the very next page!!!”

    On the flipside: today’s page is pretty. I especially like panel 3.

    Awesome job, Jax, I’m on the edge of my seat!

    @Emuchu:
    Criticism is great and all, but there’s a distinct difference between criticism and nitpicking.

    I for one, really love this comic, and unless I’ve got something better to show for it, I’m not
    gonna tell anybody how to run their own show. And I’m not about to kick somebody in the groin
    while their hands are still bleeding from their hard work. It damages the other readers’ respect
    for the author, and makes them think the comic is a free-for-all for anybody’s opinion.

    Perpetual suspense isn’t necessarily the best pacing style for EVERY single work out there.
    It’s good (and it should be expected of people) to experiment.
    What matters most is a work well executed in it’s own light, and chapter 1 is a bit too early to draw conclusions about the merit and/or needs of a story, in my opinion.

    I respect you man, but if you could ease up on the whole regular criticism thing, that’d be awesome.
    I’ve done my own webcomics, and am friends with many in the same field. Anybody in their right mind
    is already critical enough of their own work, I assure you.

    Tried to figure out what the red words on Red’s screen say. All I could make out was “Range Invalid”, “Earth”, and “Region”. Not entirely sure what that could mean…
