Wait a minute…. looking at the picture, it would appear that the arrow lodged itself on the right side of his chest, not the left. That means that, unless he’s a genetic anomaly, it missed his heart. So… maybe he won’t die? *nudge, nudge*
Also consider the era that they are in. Sure it may be a “different Earth” but from the looks of things, they probably dont have very advanced medical technology. Bleed out, infection, he’s probably doomed anyway.
You never know, they might’ve traveled to a dimension where there’s some uber healing magic stuff, so I think he MIGHT survive. One of the great things about writing fantasy/sci-fi is that you don’t have to follow any rules except your own.

The only way he would have died faster is if said Dark Knight had come and lobbed his head off mid sentence. also yes Text was hard to read.
