    Called it.
OOH! I would not want to meet his preventative measures in a dark alley… unless it was to help me see. (glow)

Curses. Five bucks it is then. So far, we’re even. And your comment made me chuckle. “to help me see.” good one.

Well actually, if we’re going by Final Fantasy standards then their weapons will deal fairly equal damage… for reasons unknown.

Ah, but you forget, sir,the stormtrooper effect, commonly known as the Principle of Evil Marksmanship. The One-at-a-Time Attack Rule might also take effect, depending on whether or not we’ll see the fight scene, or if it will cut to the end, so as to keep us wondering about his powers. They don’t stand a chance.

Also in response to sushi… I’m hoping our intrepid author DOES jump to the end. I kinda like the idea of seeing a pile of broken bodies behind a eerily glowing figure. Also if you leave someone’s powers up to anyone’s imagination, there’s no need to worry about being limited. No “my power level is over 9000!” Just drama power, like The Tick.
