Sorry for it being filler today…Just had to work on a big project this week that put me behind. The fun part about today’s filler is that it’s part of a new incentive that will hopefully go up next week….And it will include another character and they will be wearing clothing they are not accustomed to! So keep an eye out for that coming soon!

Small Mistake

I just wanted to make a post about an error that I recently discovered on page 87 “Cold”. The mystery man in question originally said that he had been searching for “5″ years. This was incorrect and was an error that was on my original script that was left unchanged. The error isn’t huge, but was inconsistent with a later comic that had the correct amount of “2 years”. I wanted to share this with you to avoid confusion and also not to look like i’m hiding errors from you because I think you wouldn’t notice….In fact i’m pretty sure someone would have caught on to that at some point. Anyway i’m just glad I caught it and have corrected it. There is also a page number issue, but i’m already working on that as well.

I also wanted to take a moment and thank my readers for your continued support as well as the readers who came and saw us at Intervention this weekend. You guys are all super awesome and once again thank you for reading!

I wanna quickly apologize about this weeks comics…More so about todays. I seem to have accidentally misplaced the second half of todays comic which I saved somewhere on my hard drive. I have been super busy this week with other projects so it could be anywhere,…This is a speed bump, but I do intend on having the comic up tonight or tomorrow. Sorry for the delay and the lapse in brain power on my end!

Hey folks! I will make this quick, but I wanted to just take a moment and apologize for the lack of updates these last couple of weeks and the overall site in general. I recently found myself looking for another car and I wanted to make sure I did it right, so I took alot of my spare time researching different cars and doing test drives. Now that I have obtain my new car (which is nicknamed Eruka from Soul Eater…Yes I know i’m Otakuing out…I’m allowed one a year) and have cleared up some other matters, I am ready to move forward and hopefully won’t run into many more distractions in the near future…SO once again I apologize and leave you with this excellent Eruka picture that I found on the webz.

I noticed I haven’t posted here in awhile and I’ll try and make this post short. I am currently trying to get back on twice a week updates and will hopefully get there soon…Just trying to get the new site started as well as adding a new comic can really suck up a lot of your spare time.

Anyway, I also noticed the voting incentive has become a bit dated! So I decided to update that with just a little something that I recently cooked up. So if you click on the voting banner to the right or click on the banner below you can shoot a vote our way and check out the newest incentive! Da Sickness

Hello there! Sorry for no update last week and all that stuff. As most of you know I usually disappear the week before a con for con prep and this time I seem to have forgot to ask for some filler comics. So last week was a bust and now i’m sick…Damn con crud finally got me. I will do my best to manage out a comic tomorrow and hopefully another for Friday. I’m also trying to get out a new [sic] comic, but that could be next week. I will try and do a proper Katsucon wrap up this week, but for now i’ll say we had a blast and were very happy to see some of you guys there and also meet some new friends at the same time. Anyway, time to get some rest….Later!

Roadside

First off…I hope everyone had a great holiday! I know I did! My wife got me Scott Pilgrim and I have watched it at least 5 times so far. The books are still better of course, but it’s just a well put together movie IMO.

So about today’s comic….As you can see it has been left uncolored and that will probably be corrected within the week, but I wanted to get this out today. I will probably do that more in the future because I hate sitting on a comic just because I haven’t had a chance to color it yet. Another reason is because I really like my black and white pencil line work better. While my work still has a long way to go I think my raw drawings are so much better before I butcher them with ink and color. I have finally resumed my tablet training and maybe this time I’ll stick to it long enough to get some results, then who knows…Maybe I can finally transition my comics to all digital, but I will need to upgrade my tablet before that can happen. Anyway, I know I did a poll awhile back, but we have doubled maybe tripled our reader base since then so I’m curious to what you guys think…Do you like the ink/color or do you like the pencil drawings instead?

As for the comic itself we are moving through chapter 2 at a good pace and I’m really excited about things to come. I recently read some discussion about how long this timeline/chapter will go and while I don’t wanna give away too much, It’s probably safe to say that you can get comfortable as there is a lot of story to be told in the current timeline. As for a number of chapters, I can’t really say just because i don’t really know the answer…Hope that helps.

Also, I will be adding bios and a “story so far” page soon and probably a few format changes to the comic itself, so keep your eyes peeled….or something.

Hey guys…Sorry for not making a post earlier this week addressing the lack of ATM updates. I have been swamped at work these last couple of weeks and have been bringing some work home so it’s been pushing me back a bit. Anyway, I just wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday and also say that you guys have been so freaking awesome and I can’t express in words how grateful I am to all you guys for reading and supporting the comic this year. One of our fans recently listed us on Belfry webcomic listings and we were the #3 most subscribed NEW comic on the site and are now listed in the top 250 most read. So thank you to whomever listed us and to everyone who has found there way over here from Belfry.

Also, a big thanks goes out to Ryan for proving the filler for the holidays, El is freaking adorible! *swoon*

Anyway, thank you guys once again, and please have a happy and safe holiday!

Ok, so I know you noticed that there was no ATM updates this week and that is due to my lack of preparing in advance. I knew this week would be tough and had offers for guest stuff, but I said “no”, I will work extra hard to do everything i need to get done this week. Well I regretted that, but I think the question you may have if any is…What were you doing that was more important than the comic this week?

I can’t talk about too much of it, but a couple of months ago I was approached with the opportunity to create badges for an upcoming 2011 convention and I said yes immediately. My deadline was this week and while I was working off and on the whole time, I was really hoping to have them done a week ago, but life never works that way for me. So I was in crunch time this whole week finishing up these bad boys and while I wish I could go back and redo the whole lot, I was pretty happy with how some came out. At this point they are sent and when I get the ok I may post them up and reveal what con you can find them at, but until then it’s all hush hush. The picture above is of Rukia and I rejected this one early on due to the expression and some other reasons, but I figure I would share it with you guys since I failed posting anything else this week.

I know I sound down on myself sometimes and I have really been down on myself about these badges…I figure alot of people will be wearing the and I don’t want those people to have disappointing badges. However, even if they aren’t perfect I am proud that I got a chance to do them and for once I actually felt like a real artist…

I leave you with this..It may be cheesy, but my Otaku side told me to wear this today as it would help remind me to stay positive and reach for the heavens…THEN PIERCE THAT SHIT!!!! *edit…picture is working again!

This Week!

Heya folks..Just wanted to give you some insight on how this week is going to go. With Nekocon coming up this weekend I am trying to get all my last minute stuff done early in the week, couple that with this past weekends events, and it leaves me with little time for Tuesdays comic. However, have no fear as Ryan will be here and so will some of his excellent filler art for tomorrows comic. The comic will be back on track Friday and in case you’re a [sic] reader as well, that will be new on Thursday. I did however put up a new incentive to vote…Some concept art I did of our still slightly mysterious Lt. Williams. So click below. vote. and seeeeeeee!
