It has been one hell of a week so far! Everything I need to get done for the upcoming con needs to get done this week and man am I pressed for time. I usually wait till the last f*cking minute every time and this time I am trying to get it all done before the last minute, but at the same time…If that makes sense. If things go well then I will have alot to offer at the convention, but if they go bad then I will be down 3 different items, so wish me luck lol!
Anyway, this is the reason the comic is on standby until next week, I do apologize for it as I know I kinda left things on a cliffhanger. There will be a guest comic up tomorrow by Darkstar’s own Ryan Thompson, so please come back tomorrow and check that out then next week everything should be back to normal.
And just a reminder we will be at Katsucon Feb 12th – 14th..I’ll have some more info on that coming soon and probably more on the main Darkstar page.
Hey folks! As you will notice the comic (which was suppose to go up 6 days ago) just went up and you will also notice that is isn’t really a comic but the fill I was working on for New Years. Well as you guessed I fell behind and finally got around to catching up with things. I have been trying to get my 2010 plans in order while also finishing up art for a couple of people I owed and so now that it’s pretty much caught up I can get back to the comic, which is pretty much already done aside from some touch ups to the last couple of panels.
I want to thank everyone for sticking with ATM for the last year and while I know it wasn’t easy because of my random ass updates, I can promise that I will make it up to you this year to the best of my ability. You will also notice changes as the comic progresses as I myself try new techniques to get better settled into this B&W update stuff. I warn you that Fridays comic will be very different so while I expect some criticism I stress that it’s just changes that will help me bring you a better comic in the end.

I totally failed my roll and I’m sorry. It slipped my mind that my In-laws would be in town this week for early Christmas and so I had pretty much zero time to work on comics. I was hoping to knock out today’s last night, but fell a couple panels short and decided that I didn’t want to rush the art anymore than I already did. So I will be releasing today’s comics tomorrow and then Tuesdays will go up at regular time. I will probably have a filler in place for Friday with it being Christmas day and all.
So check back tomorrow for the newest update!

The title says it all…I was sick for a good portion of this week and boy do I become useless during that time. I’m still trying to shake the rest, but I’m back to about 85%. I had no sick days left at work so I pretty much worked through it and that meant by the time I got home I was just dead…No drawings, No…well sorta no video games (Dragon Age FTW). However, it’s back to business and I have already got cranking on a new comic which will be released this weekend, followed 2 more next week to make up for some lost time.
Now if you took the chance to vote in the box on the right side regarding the comics in b&w or color choice, then you probably already know what I’m about to say. Effective immediately “Across The Multiverse” will be going to b&w with special pages and covers to be in color. This was not an easy decision and while I’m excited to try this a different way I will admit I’m also kinda bummed as the original intention was to make this whole comic in color. I know some of you guys might not like this either, but I’m hoping that increased updates will help make that easier to deal with. I will admit though that the comic may go back to color down the road when the extra time becomes available, but I just fear that this comic was becoming too much like [sic] and I just fighting to have time to update it due to coloring limitations. I know, I know! The comic is lacking right now, but these last two weeks have been the worst weeks I have had in quite some time. I have had to make an emergency trip to the dentist not once but twice and I’ve had work riding me about some deadlines. This all equals little time to do the planning for the comic like I wanted and this next comic is pretty big as far as storyline goes and I really want to make it pop. I do want to thank everyone who has voted so far for the B&W/Color debate and if you haven’t then please take a moment to look to the right side of the comic and have your say in the matter. I realize there is no “Doesn’t matter” choice and I wish I had put that, but I didn’t really think about it till later after people started voting. I will probably let it run for about another week but unless it changes dramatically I will possibly be switching to B&W with color updates for bigger parts of the story. We’ll see!
