Ah, an eternal problem of any hi-tech device – it either breaks down and doesn’t work, or it exceeds expectations and still screws everyone!
Happens to my Toaster all the time!
where a ‘safe’ place is gong to have to be highly technical to begin with for them to even have a hope of fixing the thing
They just need to head into a sufficiently far ahead point in time, say the year three-thousand, where technology is most likely to be far enough advanced(no matter what the universe) to be useful in repairing the device.
ok is it just me or does she cry a lot? emotional much.
