hmm… the scale of the city wall vs characters, and the direction of the shadows seem to be a bit off…

I won’t argue with those points. My original intention was to completely draw this whole scene by hand and it’s just not currently in my range. Anyway, while I probably didn’t convey this well in the final product, they are currently up on a hill over looking the city and wall goes much further down from where they are. As for the shadow, I may try and fix that because I see what you are referring to and it is kinda rough. This one page will haunt me until I just redraw it i think which I plan on doing in the future.

Eitherway thanks for the comment though :)

And so our hero, the Cow, having defeated the nefarious Cow… anyways, I got the hill thing, I just had to look at it for a sec. I used to go by “if you can’t beat them, mock them.” But that got me beat up too often, so…

While the perspective makes the terrain a bit unclear, it’s certainly not an impossible scene. You just need to use your imagination a little. The shadows are the only real problem I can see.

Also, I think I’ve been watching WAY too much One piece, because my eye was *almost* immediately drawn to that ship in the background and I thought “PIRATES!” But then I realized that this is a different story. Although…… might we be seein’ some swashbucklin’ me hearty? You never know in parallel universes.

(And by “way too much” I mean I’ve never seen it before and just recently started watching 10 episodes a day; give or take.)
