    “I wonder what happened here.”

It was obviously a tea party for the duke of Yogurtstan’s birthday. Yeesh, obviously it was a battle. You’re askin’ the wrong questions, buddy. His optimal question would’ve be something like “Are the time travelers involved in this already?”, or even just a cliche ol’ “What did I get myself into?”. Eh, but it’s still a bit difficult to asses his competency, but he’s still obviously fairly good at his job.

I’ll bet you $5 he cracked the others guys instead of being hit himself.

Either the crack of mace to head or the crack of his ice field coming into effect

Or it was a magic mace that just makes a cracking noise when you swing it.

Or, come to think of it, he could REALLY throw us for a loop, and the guy could’ve just had his head knocked in with a mace. Though I hope it wasn’t fatal if that is what happened.

I think in the future (relatively) the time agent will soon become part of the problem he is trying to prevent.

    Aye, that it is.

Morning star, mace. One has spikes and the other doesn’t, but you’ll be happier not being smacked with either.
